Solution Overview

Challenge Title: “Feast in” – A recipe and lifestyle application and website

Problem Statement :

Existing recipe platforms provide users with a simplistic model of presenting recipes based on categorization while offering a search feature that is limited in functionality and provides a generic result which does not account for the specific ingredients that a user currently has available or include customisation capabilities.

Objective :

The Feast in app and website is a platform that enables the user to receive recommended recipes based on ingredients they already have.

Who does your solution serve, and in what ways will the solution impact their lives?

Users could customize any of the available recipes, and apply filtering to suit their individual requirements. The development of this application directly benefit users who are on a budget and cannot purchase additional ingredients to complete a recipe and to also provide creative recipe ideas even with limited ingredients. The app allows for full customisation of recipes, and could make recommendations while taking dietary needs into consideration.
